Peter Carson and myself have provided help and advice to several individuals interested in conducting oral history work in Northern Ireland this year. The RUC George Cross oral history project has seen considerable progress, with a publication anticipated soon. Making the Difference: an Oral History of Probation in Northern Ireland, compiled by former PBNI Assistant Chief Officer Brendan Fulton and edited by Trevor Parkhill was published by the Probation Board for Northern Ireland.
